Ingredients 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1/3 cup milk 1/8 cup butter 1/5 cup brown sugar 3 cups fresh fruit, peeled and cubed 1 egg 1/10 cup ice 1/15 cup milk Directions In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, milk, and butter.
Stir in the egg, fruit, and ice until the mixture is just incorporated.
Stir well until combined.
Fold in the brown sugar, egg, and orange zest.
Pour into the bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, and brown sugar until combined and smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared dish, using a wooden spoon to coat it evenly.
Using a pastry brush, brush the dish with the batter and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Remove the dish from the refrigerator, allow to cool completely, and then brush with the remaining batter.
Using the same brush, smooth the edges of the dish.
Using your hands, flatten the edges into disks and place them in the fridge for about 2 hours.
Once the disks are ready, they will need to be chilled before using.
Once they are chilled, use the same method for cutting them.
Serve with fresh fruit and ice cream.
