I made this dish last week and wanted to share it with you, so I figured I’d share my thoughts on how much it will cost.
The ingredients: 4 tbsp.
butter, 1 tsp.
garlic powder, 1/2 tsp.
salt, 1 cup milk, 3 eggs, 1 tbsp.
lemon juice, 1 1/4 tsp.
black pepper, 1.5 cups of water (I used 2 1/3 cups water)Cooking the butter:I first made this with 2 tbsp.
I then added some salt to make it a little salty.
I cooked the butter until it was a little golden brown.
I then used 1 tbsp of lemon juice and black pepper to give it a subtle red color.
Next I added the milk, eggs, lemon juice/black pepper and salt.
Cooking for the butter in water:I then added the remaining butter and cooked it until it thickened a bit.
I poured it into the skillet and let it cook for a minute.
I placed a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the pan to protect the water.
I added the lemon juice for a bit, and added the water, egg, and pepper.
Cook the butter and the lemon:I cooked it for a couple of minutes, and then poured the mixture into the pan.
I stirred it constantly.
The mixture came out a little runny and the edges of the butter were very dry.
I put the pan back over medium heat and stirred it again.
It was ready.
I let it sit for about 10 minutes and then took it out of the heat.
I sliced it with a paring knife and added it to a plate.
I used a spatula to scrape the butter from the sides.
I added some butter to the saucepan and let the butter melt it.
I placed it on a plate and then drizzled the sauce over it.
The dish came out great!
I will make it again!
